A two star property recognized by Deptt. of tourism Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge is walking distance from the park's main gate & is in the periphery if the park. It has been developed on a theme of an indian village thus has combination of mud and an inner court yard. The estates meadows deer and other animals which come soon after sunset. The Gole Ghar sit-out for private evening gatherings, that is also a hide-out for daylight observation and photography of birds and animals that frequent the waterholes. In the quiet of the starlit night, the bark of the deer, the howling of the jackal and the occasional roar of the tiger carries the reminder of the wild closer home. The Lodge is operational from October to June. |
